Why we exist

Dwarkabai Shamrao Vaidya Social Foundation is an NGO serving Nashik through education, nutrition, free health camps and meditation — with full transparency and dignity. From a warm meal to a peaceful mind, our seva touches every part of life. Every morning our Seva Kendra fills with the sound of Om and Bhramari as hundreds meditate together. Every Sunday brings chakra sadhana, langar, elder visits and plantation drives. Women learn tailoring in our skill centre, children get school kits, patients get free treatment guidance, and gaumata gets fresh fodder. This is seva as a way of life — come, be part of it.

Our Causes

Chakra Sadhana & Energy Meditation

Our body is made of energy. Chakra Sadhana works on the seven energy centres (chakras) — from the root (Muladhara) to the crown (Sahasrara) — that flow along our spine. Through deep breathing, sound vibration (naad and mantra chanting like Om), colour visualisation and focused meditation, we gently cleanse and balance these centres. Regular practice reduces stress and anxiety, sharpens focus and memory, improves sleep quality and brings deep inner peace. Beginners start with guided 30-minute sessions; experienced seekers join hour-long deep sadhana with silence and mantra jaap. Sessions run every Sunday morning at the Seva Kendra, and special full-moon (Purnima) meditation nights are held every month. Open to all ages — students, working professionals, homemakers and elders. Completely free, no prior experience needed. Just come with comfortable clothes and an open heart.
